“Hot Trot 5K” Virtual Run/Walk
Recognizing the hybrid approach to this year's meeting, we have made the decision to keep the Hot Trot 5K Run/Walk as a virtual event in 2022, allowing ALL attendees to participate.  All  race materials will be mailed to participants following the Annual Meeting.

    Council and Center Leadership
    If you are thinking about getting involved in the SNMMI, this Molecular Hub is for you. You will meet the current leadership of each Council and Center and find out what they are working on and where you can help! You will also get an opportunity to meet individuals with your same interest and backgrounds! Staff will also be on-site in case you are interested in starting your volunteer career with SNMMI today!

The ‘Mars Shot for Nuclear Medicine, Molecular Imaging, and Molecularly Targeted Radiopharmaceutical Therapy’ is a forward-looking glimpse into the future of nuclear medicine. The manuscript—published in the January 2021 issue of The Journal of Nuclear Medicine (JNM)—outlines visionary but achievable goals for the many facets of nuclear medicine.

Women in Nuclear Medicine (WINM) Breakfast

Since its inception in 2007, the organization’s website and YouTube channel have become destinations for inclusiveness, positivity, intelligence, and imagination.

Knowledge Bowl

The SNMMI Early Career Professionals Committee is excited to sponsor the Knowledge Bowl again this year! This interactive CE session provides an opportunity of residents to network with each other in a competition of the mind! Residents will be showed difficult general nuclear medicine and PET tracer cases, examine basic science questions, and interpret important correlative imaging findings.

Hands on Dosimetry Open House

The SNMMI Dosimetry Task Force is hosting a special session for dosimetry software vendors (both commercial and public). During this hands on session, attendees will be able to test drive dosimetry software from the vendors. All vendors will have the 2 Lu177 Challenge patient data loaded for attendee review. Breakfast and coffee will be available.

Young Investigator Awards (YIA) and Early Career Professional Awards Ceremony

SNMMI Council and Centers will be joining together to sponsor the Young Investigator Award Ceremony. The winners of the YIA oral abstract presentations will be announced and presented with their certificates, as will the Early Career Professionals Award winners.  This unique ceremony, held in the Poster Hall, is open to all meeting attendees. The Young Investigator Awards are sponsored by the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (ERF). 

SNMMI Technologist Section (SNMMI-TS) Business Meeting

We invite everyone to celebrate with the SNMMI-TS the accomplishments of the Section during their Annual Business Meeting. This year, the SNMMI-TS Leadership will announce the winners of the 2022-2023 elections, present the Editor’s Choice Award winners for the best JNMT articles. In addition, the winners of the 2022 Best Abstracts will be awarded. At the end of the meeting, Dusty York, MAEd, CNMT, PET, ARRT(N)(CT), will formally induct Krystle Glasgow, MIS, CNMT, NMTCB(CT), NMAA, FSNMMI-TS as the new SNMMI-TS President.

Tuesday, June 14 | 8:00-9:30 am PDT
The SNMMI Grant Evaluation, Review and Mentoring Program is an intensive course where participants will receive hands-on experience in preparing a grant application for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF) or other funding institution. Led by faculty members with expertise in preparing and submitting grants, this course provides insight into the entire grant preparation process and includes a personalized review of your proposal. Participants are selected through a competitive application process. Upon successful completion, participants will leave equipped with knowledge on how to write a polished grant proposal as a principal investigator.
