CE Accreditation

The SNMMI 2022 Annual Meeting will provide an in-depth review of molecular imaging technologies, clinical applications, and translational and advanced research topics for molecular imaging professionals— nuclear medicine physicians, scientists, radiologists, cardiologists, pharmacists, technologists, researchers, and other involved and interested in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging and therapy.

By attending the SNMMI Annual Meeting, participants will be able to:

  • Examine and evaluate future directions in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging and therapy from a research and clinical perspective.
  • Describe the latest indications and applications of hybrid imaging and its impact on patient management.
  • Review standard, new and relevant advances in molecular imaging including applications in oncology, cardiology and neurology.
  • Discuss new therapeutic and diagnostic agents that are impacting the practice of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
  • Review radiation dose and image quality in medical imaging.
  • Identify clinical content that is applicable to practice improvement.
  • Examine important regulatory information, procedures, and guidelines for imaging
In-Person Attendees can earn up to 26.75 CE Credits.
Virtual Attendees can earn up to 270.0 CE Credits starting June 11 through July 14, 2022.

CME Accreditation - AMA PRA Credits
The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Inc., (SNMMI) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education for physicians.

  • In-Person Attendance: SNMMI designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 26.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
  • Virtual Attendance: SNMMI designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 270.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. To receive CE credit, participants must complete the online evaluation available after the program.

ABNM Self-Assessment Module (SAM) Credits
Physician attendees will have the opportunity to earn SAM credits, provided they attend the entire session and complete the post-activity online evaluation. A final list of SAM sessions will be available on the Meeting App and at the Education Desk.

MENTORED CASE REVIEW DOCUMENTATION
Participants attending the Case Review sessions will be offered documentation that shows they participated in mentored cases for the number of cases actually completed during the sessions.

Nuclear Medicine Technologists: VOICE CATEGORY A+ CREDITS

SNMMI-TS, through its Verification of Involvement In Continuing Education (VOICE) program, has approved the SNMMI 2022 Annual Meeting for the following number of continuing education hours (CEHs):

  • In-Person Attendance: A maximum of 26.75 CEHs.
  • Virtual Attendance: A maximum of 270.0 CEHs.

VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT as Category A+ credit. Partial credit is not awarded for partial attendance. A listing of the California Scope categories will be available on the Meeting App and at the Education Desk.
