Presentation of the 2020 Georg Charles de Hevesy Award
Each year, SNMMI presents the Georg Charles de Hevesy Nuclear Medicine Pioneer Award to an individual for outstanding contributions to the field of nuclear medicine. De Hevesy received the 1943 Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work in determining the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination of radioactive compounds in the human body. His work led to the foundation of nuclear medicine as a tool for diagnosis and therapy, and he is considered to be one of the fathers of nuclear medicine.
 

SNMMI Business Meeting and Special Plenary Session: Cassen Lectureship - Monday, July 13

Lisa Bodei, MD, PhD, is the Attending, Director of Targeted Radionuclide Therapy, Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service; Department of Radiology, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Bodei is a nuclear medicine physician who has extensive experience and broad expertise in therapeutic and diagnostic applications of nuclear medicine in oncology.


Henry N. Wagner, Jr., MD Highlights Symposium - Tuesday, July 14
The scientific highlights of the Annual Meeting will be presented in the context of modern molecular medicine.
