Thank you for speaking at the SNMMI 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. This page provides you with helpful resources to navigate our virtual platform. Please bookmark this page as new information will be added frequently.

Virtual Meeting Session Format

  • Moderator will introduce the session and all speakers 
    • SNMMI will provide intro slide for the session
    • SNMMI will provide Moderator with a script for general announcements and speaker bios for the introductions
    • Moderator is responsible for ensuring that each presentation ends on time.
  • Speakers Presentations – see timed session details below. It is imperative that speakers only speak for the time allotted to them. Each session needs to conclude on time.
  • Live Q&A is scheduled for the last 10 minutes of the session – Moderators will receive separate instructions for managing the Q&A portion of the session
  • Speakers and moderators will receive a Google calendar invitation from our Virtual Meeting vendor (6Connex) no later than one week prior to the official start date of the meeting.
    • The invitation will include that moderator’s/speaker’s personal access link and personal login and password.
    • The invitation will be for 90 minutes - 30 minutes prior to your session start time as well as the duration of your session.
    • It is imperative that all speakers and moderators join 30 minutes prior to the session start time to receive instructions from the session manager, ensure sound and video work properly and answer any questions you may have prior to presenting.
 

PowerPoint Presentations

  • Final Speaker PowerPoint presentations must be uploaded to the SNMMI Dropbox by no later than May 28, 2021. 
  • Final Scientific Oral Abstracts Presenter PowerPoint presentations must be uploaded to the SNMMI Dropbox by no later than June 2, 2021.

Slideshow

  • Acceptable file types: PPTX or PPT file
  • Slide Size, use “Standard (4:3)” or “Widescreen (16:9)”
  • NO embedded fonts, videos, or audio
  • Gifs and animations are OK
  • NO grouped SmartArt

Overlay Videos

  • Acceptable file types: MP4 or MOV
  • Size: Under 1.8 Gbs
  • Must be at least 15 seconds long
  • Require an audio track for upload. The audio track can be silent if preferred. Videos without an audio track will not process successfully.
  • Overlay videos cannot be narrated over during the live presentation – If you would like narration, it must be recorded as part of the video.

CE Question Writing Guidelines

Each CE, Technologist, and Categorical session will become an On-Demand Enduring CE Activity after the meeting. All enduring programs must include a post-test, with a minimum of 8 multiple-choice questions for each continuing education hour of credit. Session Organizers, Moderators and Speakers are encouraged to work together to ensure that enough CE Questions are written for their respective sessions.
 
Writing a good question is difficult. Remember these points to help you write a good question: 

  1. Keep the question focused; a question should test a single concept, and ask for the single best answer
  2. A well formatted question asks which answer correct, not which answer is incorrect. 
    • An exam is psychometrically poor when some questions ask individuals to select truth, while other questions ask individuals to select falsehood, as the correct answer.
  3. There should only be one correct answer 
    • Don’t use “all of the above”, “some of the above” [e.g., A and B], “none of the above,” “always/never”.
  4. A well formatted question only contains the information required to answer the question. 
    • Extraneous or misleading information should not be included. (keep it as short as possible) 
  5. Possible answers should be the same length, and the same type. 
  6. If “True/False” questions are used, they cannot exceed 20% of the questions provided (e.g., 2/10).

Best Practices


 Asset Type  Specifications

Headshot

  • Accepted file types: JPG, PNG
  • Size: 300 x 300 pixels (the platform will allow us to crop the photo if it's too big)
  • Can be displayed vertically or horizontally
  • Can appear as circles, squares or squares with rounded corners

Bios

  • No character limit, but a few sentences is perfectly sufficient.
  • 6Connex does not copy edit bios. How they appear in the worksheet is how they will appear in the webinar.
  • Presenter name will be in bold.
  • Arial font, 12 point size.

  • Acceptable file types: PPTX or PPT file

  • Please note: multi webcam requires 720p uplift
  • Google Chrome browser is required to share your screen

Polls (recommended use)

  • Maximum of 3 poll questions per webinar
  • Each question can have a maximum of 5 answer options
  • Can be multiple choice or "select all that apply" checkboxes
  • NO write-in options for polls

End Survey

  • Can be created in webinar platform OR can be a link to a survey platform of your choosing
  • Best Practice: if the same end survey is being used for all webinars, please provide the questions as early as possible.

Thumbnail Image

  • Webinar descriptions can include a thumbnail image, if requested

Header Image

  • Size: 300 x 75 pixels
  • Appears at the top of the player in each webinar
